The Career So Far
Andrew Leese has worked in the electronic music scene for over a decade. His career started as a music journalist before moving into his true passion - marketing.
Below is how Andrew got started in the music business, plus his career highlihts.


2010 - 2013
Underground Source
My journey began in 2010 with the music blog Underground Source. A close friend introduced me to Paul Banks, together we built a platform that introduced me to the music scene. We attended Parklife as part of their social media team, festivals in London and events in Ibiza as well as interviewing local and established DJs in the U.K.

Socially Sound started as a weekly newsletter in 2020. It began as something to pass the time in the pandemic. As the readership increased, The Blueprint found its way into industry leaders inbox every week for three years.

The Blueprint caught the attention of an industry member who introduced me to Maceo Plex and his team. After being a fan for over a decade, I worked alongside Maceo and his team for 18 months as his Marketing Manager; touring the world and launching his latest album '93'
